Frequently Asked Questions

Your sessions, Plain Sailing

How should I prepare for my first treatment?

Make sure you have completed the paperwork I email out to you and get that back to me at least 2 days before your session.
Then on the day, if you are visiting for a bodwork session, please make sure you have bathed and make sure you drink plenty of water.
Also make sure you are not partying too hard afterwards, and drink an extra point of water before the end of the day to clear toxins.

What should I expect from my first session?

I will have already got a lot of information about you from the health questionnaire, but I may need to discuss this further. Its important that we are totally honest with each other to ensure optimal outcomes.

Its also important that you feel safe and comfortable, so please do let me know if there is anything I can provide to enhance this for you.

Do you help treat terminal or chronic illness?

Chronic exhaustive and pain conditions are my speciality, both with coaching and bodywork therapies.
Im afraid that my insurance does not cover me to conduct bodywork with individuals undergoing cancer treatments, but I can provide both energy work (Reiki), and coaching which can have a profound positive effect, even at such challenging times. Once active treatment has ended, I am happy to support you with bodywork therapies too.
